We collect the minimum we need to run the service: your email (to log you in), your username, your charts, and a payment confirmation if you go Pro. That's it.
We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't use tracking cookies. Your charts are yours — private drafts stay private, and you can delete everything at any time.
We use Supabase to store your data and Stripe to process payments. Neither sees more than they need to.

Your chord charts and account data are retained for as long as your account exists. Published charts remain accessible at their public URLs until you unpublish or delete them.
If you delete your account, all associated data—including charts, drafts, collections, and profile information—will be permanently removed from our servers. Published viewer pages will be taken offline.
You have the right to:

You may not use, copy, reverse-engineer, adapt, or build upon these technical components — including the HTML structure, CSS, or JavaScript — to develop, operate, or distribute any product or service that competes with, replicates, or is reasonably likely to harm Tonico. Your user-generated content (your chart data, chords, lyrics, and annotations) is entirely your own and is not subject to this restriction.

Tonico is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete the account and associated data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
