Tonico keeps shortcuts focused instead of sprawling. In the builder, Esc closes active builders or overlays so you can get back to the chart quickly. Arrow keys help you move through chord-builder controls, and Delete or Backspace can clear selected chord content faster than hunting for buttons.
When Tonico asks for a direct action, Enter is often the fastest confirm key, especially in search and simple creation flows.
Most speed in Tonico comes from structure, not from memorizing hotkeys. Build the skeleton of the song with sections and phrases first, then fill in chords, symbols, and notes once the arrangement is clear.
Keep charts lean. Use text notes for cues that matter on the gig, and republish after meaningful edits so your team keeps using the same link with the latest version.
In performance mode, Space moves forward and Shift + Space steps back. Left Arrow and Right Arrow do the same if you prefer dedicated navigation keys.
Esc exits play mode instantly. These controls are especially useful on laptops and tablets with keyboards, while touch still works well for simple page turns.
